Sales and Reservation Policy

Reservations: Lil’ Hill Farm maintains a list to reserve kids. To reserve kid(s), the prospective buyer must submit their name and email address to be placed on the list. No deposits are taken on kids until the kids are born and determined by Lil’ Hill Farm to be healthy. The first person on the reservation list will then be notified and must respond within 48 hours as to whether they want the kid. If they choose not to take the kid, then the next person on the list will be notified. A deposit to hold the kid will be required within one week of a purchase agreement. A deposit of $100 will hold a kid until arrangements are made for pickup.

Deposits: All deposits are NONREFUNDABLE, except for illness or death of the kid. In that instance, the deposit may be directed toward another kid or refunded, at the discretion of Lil’ Hill Farm. All sales are made on a first come first serve basis unless a reservation has been made.

Payment: Personal checks are accepted only on deposits or if the animal is paid for in full at least two weeks before pickup. Cash is required if animal is paid for at pickup.

Pickup: Kids are weaned and ready for pickup at approximately 8 weeks of age. They will have at least their first CD/T shot, worming, hoof trimming and be tattooed prior to pickup. Veterinary health certificates (optional, but required by law for interstate travel) and fees charged by the Veterinarian for the farm call and animal examination and/or tests are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Lil’ Hill Farm does not ship our animals and they must be picked up at the farm.

GUARANTEE

Because we cannot guarantee the care given to the animal(s) once they leave our farm, no refund or replacement will be offered unless a certified Veterinarian statement or Necropsy report states that the animal was unhealthy because of a genetic problem or circumstance that could only be caused before the buyer had taken possession of the animal, including infertility, unless the animal was sold as pet quality or wethered.

Lil’ Hill Farm reserves the right to retain any kid born on the farm.
